Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 USM L + Speedlite 430EX + Manfrotto 055 PRO B + Manfrotto 488RC2 Ball Head

You are currently looking at a 1978 Canon A-1 with a FD 50mm f/1.2 and Motor drive MA.

The Canon A-1 is a beautiful modern classic 35mm SLR camera. Unlike most other SLR of the time, it was only available in one colour, all black. The listed price for the body + the 50mm prime f/1.4 was around 114,000 yen ($625). It was 30-40% more expensive compared to the usual SLRs that were sold during the late 1970s.

The A-1 was the first SLR to offer an electronically controlled programmed auto-exposure mode. Instead of the photographer picking a shutter to freeze the action. The Canon A-1 was a runaway best seller, as it offered new SLR buyers considerable features and value for the price.

The A-1 was due for replacement when the Canon T90 came out in 1985. Canon's abandonment of the FD lens mount for the EOS design also had a significant effect on demand for the A-1 on the used market. But it is still regarded as one of the most fascinating SLRs of its generation and many are still in regular use.

The above picture shows that the Canon A-1 is attached with the motor drive MA. The motor drive MA not only does offer a choice of power source, there are a variety of shooting speeds as well. Either single-frame shooting or speeds of 3.5 fps and 5 fps can be selected. Marked "S", "L" and "H" respectively, you can change from and to the other easily by the selector dial located on both battery packs.

If you are a local Malaysian who is interested in this Print, and lives around Selangor or Kuala Lumpur. Special price will be given to any customer. Print will not be printed from DeviantART. All type of print size and texture are available for personal choice. Please note me*
