To Utrecht

I notice that every time when you spot a good photo opportunity and when you're about to take that photo, and there is only that chance. All a sudden someone steps into the frame and blew up the whole composition. By the time they are gone, something comes over again, maybe the sun had been shaded by a cloud or the interest of the subject has left or somehow somebody needs your help and ask whether you could take a picture of them. It has always been like this when i'm about to take that photo. This was one of its victim, but thank goodness this one came out good.

On this day, I came to Utrecht because I was on the way to Hilversum to checkout some modern architecture. So I had this city in mind because of a 22 Euro train ticket. It rained all day, the whole Netherlands was raining and it didn't stop. I waited for 30 minutes in a boring bookstore and couldn't wait no more. I took the attempt and prepared a lot of lens tissue. I didn't care much about my camera or lens, since it wasn't raining hard and I can't manage to hold my umbrella at the same time with my camera.

Oh yes, it was all wet. But I was very used to this, since it always rained.
